New executive board meets in Edmonton

Members of United Nurses of Alberta's Executive Board are gathering in Edmonton this week for their first meeting since the October 2012 Annual General Meeting.

The four day meeting began with one day of orientation for board members and will be followed by three days of business.

District Representatives from across Alberta are elected at UNA's Annual General Meeting to sit on UNA’s Executive Board. The Board is the union’s decision-making body between Annual General Meetings. 

Several new board members were elected at the UNA Annual General Meeting in October 2012.
