UNA nurses attend national nursing conference in Toronto

UNA nurses participated in a rally for mental health at the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions convention in Toronto.

More than 190 members of United Nurses of Alberta are participating in this week's Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions conference in Toronto. More than 800 nurses from across Canada are attending the biennial meeting.

Over the course of the week, delegates will hear from many speakers, including Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, former Governor General Michaëlle Jean, and economist David Foote.

This afternoon, more than 800 nurses will rally at Ontario's Legislature Building today in support of Mental Health programs.
