There’s a critical shortage of nurses and Alberta’s nurses have a prescription to fix it.

The 3Rs of Fixing Health Care: Retain, Recruit and Respect.

We need to retain the nurses we have.

We need to recruit nurses to work here. That also means supporting education for new nurses and getting nurses who’ve quit or retired to return. 

And the key to both is to treat nurses with respect.

It’s time for Alberta’s politicians to listen to Alberta’s nurses.
