Important Negotiations Update: Employers, as directed by the Government, now propose 3% salary rollback

- The UNA Negotiating Committee met with Employers participating in "Provincial Negotiations" which includes AHS, Covenant Health, Lamont Health Care Centre and Bethany Group (Camrose).

- Employers now add a 3% salary rollback to other rollbacks, such as the elimination of the semi-annual lump sum payments, reduced shift and weekend premiums, etc.  This represents at least a 5% compensation reduction.

- Employers did return to current overtime provisions, transportation allowance and education allowances.

- Parties are scheduled to meet again on Thursday, July 8th. More details will be provided.
