NPAA seeks intervenor status in UNA application for determination
The Nurse Practitioner Association of Alberta has applied for intervenor status in United Nurses of Alberta’s application for determination to represent Nurse Practitioners employed by Alberta Health Services.
The NPAA has asked for full intervenor status, including the right to call evidence and provide oral and written submissions on all issues before the Board.
UNA was informed of this development on May 2 by the NPAA’s legal counsel.
The NPAA is a voluntary professional association that represents slightly more than half of the Nurse Practitioners in the province of Alberta.
