New workplace safety laws discussed at meeting of union and government officials

Recent changes to Alberta's Occupational Health and Safety laws were a topic of discussion when United Nurses of Alberta hosted a meeting between government OHS officials and union representatives on Monday, Jan 8, 2018. UNA was pleased to welcome OHS Executive Director of Policy Ross Nairne and Executive Director of Delivery Rob Feagan, along with representatives of the Health Sciences Association of Alberta and the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees, to discuss how the government's reforms to workplace safety laws will impact union members.
