New contract ratified by UNA and Clifton Manor in Calgary
A new four-year collective agreement has been ratified by members of United Nurses of Alberta Local 213 and their employer, the Brenda Strattford Foundation Ltd., at Clifton Manor in Calgary.
Highlights of the agreement, which runs until March 31, 2017, include:
- A 2 per cent salary increase on the date of ratification.
- A $2,400 signing bonus.
- Parity with the UNA Provincial Collective Agreement for professional dues reimbursement.
- Wage and lump sum reopening provisions in 2015 and 2016.
UNA provides a wide range of services to its members. A key role is negotiating the excellent collective agreements that regulate salaries, benefits, schedules and working conditions of members. UNA also administers its agreements to resolve disputes, improve working conditions and protect nurses’ workplace rights.
