The Alberta Union of Provincial Employees has served 72-hour strike notice for its 16,000 member bargaining unit that includes Licensed Practical Nurses, Health Care Aides and other workers employed by Alberta Health Services, Recovery Alberta, Primary Care Alberta, Assisted Living Alberta and the Allen Gray Continuing Care Centre.
United Nurses of Alberta stands with our AUPE co-workers in their fight for a fair collective agreement and UNA members will do everything we can to support our co-workers in this struggle.
UNA will continue to provide guidance and information for members and Local executives about what to do when the AUPE strike begins at on Saturday, November 22 at 8:30 a.m.
