Canmore and Banff nurses rally for respect

Alberta nurses are standing up for safe staffing and safe patient care! UNA members from Canmore and Banff rallied outside the Canmore General Hospital to show their support for a fair collective agreement that treats Alberta nurses with respect.

UNA Local 119 (Canmore General Hospital) President Kirstin Bartsch shared a message of thanks to everyone who joined the rally:

"Thanks to everyone who made it out to the Bow Valley today to show their support for safe staffing, public health care, and fair contracts for public sector workers in bargaining this year!! We even made it downtown to show our support for the postal workers currently on strike!!! So amazing to see these all of these people come together to raise awareness on these important issues!"
